Why do I need a meditation Coach?
Everyone is different, the way you think, the way your brain is wire, that's why meditation may work for one person but not for you, so you have more tendency to give up if you can't stay still or clear your mind. There is so many different meditation technique out there let me help you which one work best for you.
Meditation is a personal journey and requires feedback and instruction. Historically meditation was taught directly to students/monks/yogis by a teacher. The feedback and accountability is essential to real growth. An important question to ask is whether you really want to build a meditation practice that will change your life? If the answer is yes, then a 1-on-1 coach is the best way to do that. 1-on-1 instruction is the quickest way to really learn to meditate. Depending on the student, we emphasize different practices that fit his or her mindset.
1-on-1 coaching solves three big issues that hinder our ability to learn to meditate (or gain any new skill): Wasting time, getting discouraged, and lack of accountability.

The What and Why of Meditation
To make it simple: meditation seems to make us more at peace with ourselves and our surroundings. It helps us to accept the world, our life, and our experience as it is.
Meditation is using the breath, body sensations, and/or thoughts as a practice to train the mind. Just like learning to drive, where you need to learn how to turn, park, change lanes, come to a stop, etc., the mind learns different skills through meditation that it can use to find greater peace, clarity, and focus in daily life. Learning to meditate properly can result in a less painful, less tense, and more present way of life. This has all kinds of benefits for your enjoyment of life, your performance, and your sense of well-being.
Will I be meditating outside of my sessions with my coach?
Yes please! Our goal is to set you on a path with an easy-to-do daily practice and then use your sessions to ask questions, create accountability, provide feedback, etc. Meditation should be practiced daily or close to daily to yield results.
How long is each session / What is it like?
Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes. You will greet/chat with your instructor and give him a little insight into what's been going on with your practice and any questions you might have. The instructor will then guide you through a meditation practice for that session and give you instructions on how to practice at home. Each follow-up will be similar, with more instructions/practices being added over time.
